Ok so we're rapidly approaching that time of year when it's almost constantly dark and miserable.

You get into work, sit at your desk, turn on the computer and contemplate another day of whatever it is you do as the screen flickers into life.

Then you get that small moment when your desktop comes up, and it's a little perk me up, even if only for a second. You smile as you see your lovely nature-based desktop reminding you of the wonders of nature, and the infinite possibilities it holds.

If this isn't happening then you need to change your wallpaper foo!

You need to head over to www.desktopography.net and download one of the fantastic new 44 nature wallpapers that have just gone up for this year's exhibit. Or get all of them, that's certainly what I did! I was lucky enough to be invited to be part of it this year and you can see my submission in my gallery.

Now as you tighten your grip round your mug of tea, and peel open the wrapper of that chocolate bar in your desk, you know the one you've been saving, think to yourself; life's not all that bad!

Hi all,

Been struggling to find the motivation to do any work despite having a few ideas recently. I think I might be needing a kick up the backside and maybe one of these art collectives might be the answer I think.

Are there any good ones looking that anyone can recommend?
